It all starts in our Pizza Place, which is called Pizza Cave, and has been around since 1983. It was built and run by Dimitri (whom everybody calls Jimmy) and Gianni (whom everybody calls Unlce John). Those two legends started all this and much more. Jimmy’s son Mike (Manolis) grew up in Pizza Cave, started to help out with the family business very VERY young and now he runs it with his wife Karolina. It is for sure an old school place with all the family secrets like delicious pizza and salsa freshly made daily, oven baked pasta, soft ice-cream that generations grew up on and so much more. Simply good vibes, fun and interesting crowds and sometimes very good music.
Now… we move to Jimmy’s Place. You guessed it. Jimmy is resposible for those as well. Cozy and comfy family studio apartments, located right in the center of Ormos village.
You can choose between standart studio at the ground level with king size bed and sitting area in the garden. Or you can stay in split level apartment with balcony. Jimmys place is comfortable, easy going and you will fell like you are home away from home. That is why so many people come back every summer. :)
Couple of decades later, Mike followed his fathers steps, and started to construct and reconstruct few places around here as well. With Karolina they built from ground up Dimitri’s Place (named after their first son, who was named after his grandfather Jimmy - full circle).
Dimitri’s Place is a 3 bedroom house, with open plan living room/dining room/kitchen, 2 bathrooms, nice patio to enjoy your breakfast and each bedroom with a balcony. This house is perfect for family or group of friends, who like to chill, enjoy the peaceful feel and have all the comfort they can imagine.
After project ¨Dimitri’s place¨ was done, another oportunity emerged. Small, stone, partly ruined ¨kalivi¨ in Velanidia Marathokampou, which is less than 1km by the beach from Ormos. Mike and Karolina jumped at that oportunity, did their magic and here it is… Konstantino’s Place. Named after their second son (who’s got his name from Jimmy’s sister Konstantia, who is like a grandma to the boys). Now this place is smaller in size, but huge in energy, vibe and uniqueness. Perfect for a couple, but also for family with children or friends. Konstantino’s Place is surrounded by nature, next to the sea with a view of the amazing Kerkis mountain. Outdoor area with comfy outdoor daybed/sofa, dining area and kitchen with BBQ will make you so relaxed and chilled, you will not want to leave!
And there you have it. Long story long… Mike and Karolina are not done. Arnaoutis family is growing and so does the family business. Do not hesitate and book your vacation on Samos. It is most amazing island, that you will be exploring for the rest if your live and that way you become one of many repeat guests, who are now basicaly locals.
